Referred to as their ‘morning star’ by nineteenth century suffragists, Lucy Stone was an inspiring, tireless champion for suffrage, women’s rights, and the end to slavery. She founded the American Woman Suffrage Association and published the suffrage newspaper called the Woman’s Journal.
