Jamaica Plain Library: Road to the Vote: The Boston Women’s Suffrage Trail

In celebration of the centennial passage of the 19th amendment, the Boston Women’s Heritage Trail is presenting the story of local leaders and significant events in the crusade to gain the right to vote at public libraries across Massachusetts. Join us to learn about the many organizations who worked to gain women the right to vote as well as the 1919 arrest of suffragists and leaders such as Maud Wood Park, Mary Kenney O’Sullivan, Josephine St. Pierre Ruffin, and Lucy Stone.
