- 09/09/2009: Sylvia McDowell Featured in Boston Globe. BWHT board member and past president Sylvia McDowell is chronicling the inclusion of African-Americans in Forest Hills Cemetery, thought of by many as the final resting place of Boston’s elite.
We are sad to report that Sylvia McDowell passed away in March 2010.
